Singapore National Cadet & Junior Trials 1 Congratulations to our Z Fencers who secured top positions in the Singapore National Cadet & Junior Trials held on February 21 and 22 2010. Participated by top fencers in Singapore, this trial determines the national rankings of the top fencers in Singapore.

February 2010 Club Competition Results On Feb 27 & 28, we organized a special weekend competition for our young Zketeers.

In response to our members' request for competitions to be held on weekends so local and international school students may be able to participate, we rented the atrium space in Bukit Timah Plaza and hosted more than 70 of our young fencers in a nail-biting competition.

Assisted by our young Z Scholars, this event showcased our fast improving Zketeers and gave new fencers an opportunity to experience the thrill of competition.  Congratulations to all Zketeers who have shown great improvement in their fencing.

Z Scholarship Presentation On Friday February 12 2010, we formally awarded 21 of our Z Fencers with the Elite Z Scholarship. Through this scholarship programme, these national fencers will have full sponsored training support from our team of elite coaches and access to subsidized fencing equipment for all their competition needs.

Olympic Games Medallist & Fencing Legend, Ralf Bissdorf (Germany) In December 2009 and January 2010, Z Fencing invited fencing legend, Ralf Bissdorf, to Singapore as part of Z Fencing’s “The Best Inspire” series. The training, fencing bouts, workshops and motivation talks with Ralf kept our young fencers inspired as they pursue their Olympic ambitions – Dare To Dream! For more details, click here.

2009 Overseas Training Camp – Guangzhou, China As part of our training to develop young champions, Z Fencing partnered with Wei Lun Sports Institute (Guangzhou, China) for a 2 week intensive training camp in Nov 2009. Training alongside Guangzhou’s young fencers, our Z Fencers experienced the intensity of full day trainings and, through this, enhanced their competitive fencing skills. Z Fencers Win Medals In Scotland and France! Congratulations, Amita and Aarya Berthier for winning medals in the second round of the Allstar Youth Developement Series competition in Glasgow, Scotland (Organised by the Scottish Fencing Federation) and club competition in Lyon, France.
