Wow - what a weekend it was! Our Z Gala 2008 on Aug 30 & 31 was our largest gala event ever! The annual event saw a gathering of 300 Z members of all ages competing at the highest levels.
The Gala also allowed us to formally congratulate our proud graduates as they advanced to their next levels of training. Parents and friends were there together with us to celebrate their success.
Congratulations, Z Fencers! We look forward to an even grander, greater Z Gala next year with you. One for all, all for Z!
(if you would like to purchase a DVD of selected photos taken at our Z Gala, please contact your Z Fencing Centre or write in to fence@zfencing.com to reserve your copy today)

Wow - does anyone remember how we used to manage with one electrical piste and 1500sqft of space for all our members?
Here's a look down memory lane to see what our main salle in Balmoral Plaza was like before and after our June 2004 expansion renovations.

To round up on our weekend of festivities, we welcomed our gallant Zketeers (6 - 8 years old) to a full day of fencing fun. We're particularly proud of our young fencers who have shown good competitive spirit throughout the day - taking winning and losing in stride.
Congratulations, young fencers. Our September Gala awaits you.

On June 4th 2005, we organized a special Parents "Hand In Hand" Appreciation Course to help them gain hands on experience in fencing. More importantly, our Maestros provided our parents with some information on how to function as a parent coach to their children who are in fencing.
Overall, we all had a good time and our parents are now able to communicate better with their children when they talk about their children's progress in fencing.
One for all, all for Z!
